Coaches, Managers, Team Treasurers

Alberta Lacrosse Association's Screening Policy outlines the requirements for a Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) and/or Criminal Records Check (CRC) for association volunteers.  Please visit their website for complete policy details: ALA Screening Policy. 

Vulnerable Sector Check is required for all staff in direct contact with our athletes. Coaches require a VSC while managers and treasurers require a CRC. 

• Print a copy of our CRC/VSC request form and take it to our local RCMP to have the request fee waived. 
• You must bring two (2) pieces of government issued ID including a photo ID (eg. drivers license, passport, Alberta Health Card, birth certificate). Screenshots of any of the documents is not acceptable and will not be accepted. 
• Renewal is required every three (3) years or sooner if requested by our screening officer.  Thank you for your understanding, this is implemented to protect both you and our athletes. 

STAFF REGISTRATION Also required by Team Treasurer

This year is different than previous years.  You are required to register in our RAMP registration as a STAFF and then select your ROLE (Head coach, Assistant Coach, Manager, Treasurer). Please ensure you notified your division director that you are registered in RAMP so we can assign you to your team in RAMP registrations. We can only complete this after you submit your registration. Though this is similar to when you register your athlete, but to avoid ERRORs and accidently register your athlete as staff, it is important that you select the following:

• My Account Members (from the menu to the left) 
  • Select Add an Account Member to include your OWN personal information (not your athletes)
• Select Dashboard (from the menu on the left)
  • This will take you back to the menu where you can choose COACH OR STAFF REGISTRATION
• COACH OR STAFF REGISTRATION
  • Select your role from this list (Treasurer on this list is the Team Treasurer)
• Complete the required fields to enter your registration. 
• Upload your CRC directly onto your registration
